The benefits of 4G LTE and WiFi are primarily lower latency (time between tranmission and receiving communication). WiFi also means we can now use POC where there is no mobile network signal from any of the 4 Mobile Networks in the UK.
POC handheld terminals with Bluetooth benefit from the ability to pair with a handsfree and wireless bluetooth RSM (Remote Speaker Microphone).
Safety
To increase safety benefits from iPTT’s POC radio terminals, the P400 and P500 have panic/alarm buttons along with lone worker functions.
